What on earth is a ‘Shell Scheme’!?
Shell scheme is a term used in the exhibition industry. It is a modular walling/booth system supplied to many exhibitions (in most cases will be included in your space cost and provided by the exhibition organiser). A shell scheme system can be built to just about any size.
A traditional shell scheme consists of plywood panels on a softwood frame and is either painted or finished with a Velcro compatible material (ask your event organiser or read the event manual). Generally, shell scheme package will include carpet, walls, signage (fascia), lighting and standard power.
Jazz it up! In the majority of cases the shell scheme is very basic but can be enhanced and tailored to meet your objectives.
One way of making your shell scheme stand out from the crowd is to change the colour of the carpet and panels and add your branded graphics with strong messages.
